MLP OC Lucky Judgment

Alright where do I start with this one? (when creating this character, I can honestly say, I can't see this pony in the actual universe of MLP, mostly because of how she lost her face and became blind. I mean, would physical disabilities and mental issues caused by violent incodents be realistic in such a happy giddy colorful world?? I'm not to sure, what do you think? Not only that her personality and actions are borderline self destructive and way too mature for a younger audience. I'm just saying, that I might've made a dark character, not too proud of it)

First I suppose, as you can see in her adult form, she is blind, and instead of fur it's actually all feathers.
She is not exactly a pony, more like, 2/3rds pony and 1/3rd griffon. Her father, Night Owl, being a pony half griffon (Ippagrif??) who lives as a philosopher/writer, and her mother, Ali Magika, a unicorn who studies a magic similar to witch craft. ((I'll be posting a picture or two of them later.))
Lucky had a pretty decent childhood up to a point, and even though she had her deferences she was not bullied for them (Mostly because she ended up BEING the bully((get in to that later in pooossssible comic ((I should be working on another one though, dear lord)))). As a filly she was such a spritely girl who had an abundance of confidance and ego with a strong taste for danger.
It all violently changed though around the time she discovered her special talent. As you can see her cutie mark resembles something simiiar to what witches and or wizards would use to see something distant. The name of this item is sadly at a loss to me. But it's meaning seems fitting, It's supposed to just mean psychic awareness. 

How she obtained the cutie mark is a wild story. For a time she was very into mythological creatures such as ghosts, spirits, and even demons. She would drag along her friends with her, whomever she thought was cool at the time. (Her friendships seemed to end fairly quickly due to her carlessness for others feelings and lo) She would often get herself and whatever campanion she had into wacky adventures and if they wern't lucky, deep trouble.
But as the name implies she had pretty good judgment, being able to avoid harmful situations, and predicting future troubles they may have, something like bringing a rubber glove for no particular reason other than having a gut feeling.
But not only that she had a knack to running into the paranormal, making her adventures all the more obscure. She became more experianced with each adventure, she was soon able to sense the paranormal without even needing to see it. 

Though, sadly, the adults in her life somehow never witnessed such shinanigans, so whenever she'd retail the tail (Snrk snort) no one believed but her companions, her parents just assumed she had a wild imagination, and so did everypony else. At first she thought maybe it'd be for the best, if her parents knew what she was up to, putting her life on the line, no doubt would they put their hoof down.

Until the day they needed to know.
The actual story to how she obtained her cutie mark is to be told in a much more... presentable way? There is no way I can just write it to you and have it be enjoyable to its full extent, so why not make a comic of that too? 
So, I will just put it short,
Lucky, wasn't so lucky one week in school in her filly years, as she and a long time victim of her bullying behavior named Tracey, hunt down a certain demon that had shown up at their school. It ended quite grusomly as her face was torn right off, leaving her mostly blind, and nearly magicless due to her horn being broken off.

It was hard growing accustomed to this new development in life, it tested her will power and how well she could take the bullying flying her way instead of the other. She being the arse she always was ended with her being friendless in times when she might've needed friends the most. She grew into a depression, her personality morphing and changing through the years of growing up to be very toxic.
At first she was just sad. Everything was sad, she lived in denial and repressed her feelings, including just not induldging in her speacial talent. When she hit what I assume to be teenage years for ponies, anger began to show, and she became uncaring of her own life. She decided to give up on having friends and distance herself from everypony else. Even moving out of her own home. Risk, her life from then on was all about risk, trying out untested potions she just up and decided to mix together in her own potion room, though she did decide to pursue her talent once more, ghost hunting.(Or attempted ghost hunting, honestly she would just panic and give up at the first hint of ghosts at this time in her life ((considering she was still "recovering" from the phycological trama))). Who cares if she ended up in the hospital a couple times a week? 

Her parents did. Night Owl and Ali Magika decided to develop something that will do more than cover her face, they developed something that'd inhance what little magic she had, and make it possible for her to express her feelings like any other pony with facial expressions. Not only that, they would make it possible for her to speak using her mind and magic. The mask was made to be similar to the magnetic drawing board. They put sand like substance inside that reacts vividly to the smallest amounts of magic. When the presented it to her, Lucky changed durastically, feeling like she no longer was disabled, and more inabled. The mask not only gave her expression, speak, and enhanced magic (Not that the enhanced magic was much), it also helped her gain "sight". NO she was still pretty blind, but her senses that used to just be able to detect the paranormal, enhanced to being able to detect items and shapes and moving objects.

She is much happier now, and to say the least she has matured quite a bit, she has gotten a threshhold on her fear of ghosts and demons. And now pursues her love for hunting them and follows freely to what her cutie mark tells. Her self destructive behavior still remains, and her need to be up top has arrisen once more.
She learned a lot once she learned how to work with her mental illnesses (I.e. depression, anxiety, panic attacks, ptsd) than try to cure it. For she soon discovered that these things can't be cured right away with a potion (Which she learned from expiereance) or just expecting her depression to be gone the next day. And as in working with it she keeos a note with her parents contact number on it, just in case she was out in public and she was hit hard by one of those previously mentioned illnesses and she is unable to take care of herself. Thankfully she has been able to care for herself, which she takes as a victory.

But I must say, these sicknesses do not define her very being, Their just.... some sort of leech that feeds off her, and tones down her true personality. On her best of days she can sometimes be brash, and she can also be fairly annoying, she really likes pushing ponies buttons, but she can surprisingly be pretty insightful in the times somepony needs it most, she learned recently to her horror that she actually doesn't hate fillies, in fact she's pretty darn good with them. Most of the time. I wouldn't let her fillysit ever actually. She finds it tough to have any sort of romantic realationship because she's easily embarrassed and she hates the feeling of being embarrassed, thus leading to her top dog like personality. Also, because of what she went through, she wont try to show it, but she's discovering that she cares a whole lot when another pony is down. It just depletes her mood when she sees sadness in anothers eyes, She's childish, (one of the big reasons she gets along with fillies) and she really likes making wierd looking emotions with her new face such as - (╥︣﹏᷅╥) - (─‿‿─) - (•︡益︠•) -  and many more key board based emotions that tend to break the fourth wall.
